Our thanks to many neighbors that joined the 2022 annual neighborhood potluck party and contributing dishes, drinks, and great conversation.  Our civic leaders and Berkeley Fire Department were astonished by the turnout (over 150 neighbors!!), and especially the strong recognition and interest that our neighborhood has in reducing the risk of a catastrophic wildfire in Berkeley.

Please consider donating to the FireSafe Berkeley (FSB)!  The FSB is a committee within the Hillside Association of Berkeley, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (tax ID 94-3175888) and all donations are tax deductible.   We are soliciting donations to support our initiatives to reduce the danger of fires in our Berkeley community.   All donations directly support our activities to reduce the catastrophic wildfire risk in Berkeley, with the majority of the funds supporting honorarium to UC Berkeley student groups that spend weekends removing the hazardous fuel under the eucalyptus groves.  Donations are easy using our donation site:  www.firesafeberkeley.org/donations
